My Newfies by Kari Bundy

when he puts the rags in the pail for a treat and you catch him taking them back out, putting them on the floor so you tell him to pick it up and put it in the pail for another treat.
he caught me catching him because I was laughing.

when he frames the pups for stealing your shoe only to go get it for all the praise.

when he decides he's not quite done with his pedicure or he is in great need of having his webs scratched. ( apparently this is better than getting your back scratched. who'd of thunk!! ). just try getting up when a Newf paw in your lap says otherwise.

it's bedtime mom and I am going to stand here staring at you till you give in.

when he barks for the aquarium light to be on so he can play with the big catfish and plecos. they tease him to really get him going. it's quite the show. at 3am this is always a late nite treat.

when he jumps in the shower with you and he gets washed first. just try closing the door to keep him out. his two sons are starting to think this could be fun and soon there will be no room for me.

when he helps with the laundry and its o.k. to be color blind.

when he decides what or who gets vacuumed first.

I honestly have never had as much fun as I have had owning a Newf. he seems to get more creative the more I laugh. Oliver is so entertaining friends stop over to see him and always ask "how can i get my dog to do that?". all I can say is he's simply a Newf and I am lucky he chose me.

all the funnies will not surpass the time he slowed and paused before some ice on the sidewalk so my friend could get hold of him and they inched across the icy patch together.
