New Puppy Report

Kay - just an update on our girl.

We settled on the name Bella - not sure about her registered name as of yet but there is plenty of time for that.

She went to our vet today. I had to pass something along to you. Our vet has had several Newfies come through lately that were not healthy - heart murmers, hip issues, teeth issues. He said at the beginning of the exam that he would really love to see a healthy Newfie for a change ----Bella came through with flying colors. Her heart was great - hips looked wonderful (of course it is a little early) her teeth were perfect. She was so well behaved - was very sweet for the vet and very relaxed. She fell asleep on the exam room floor. He was able to clip her nails without any fuss whatsoever. The vet said that is the wonderful thing about Newfies, one of the most mellow, good natured breeds there is, but then you know that already.

I think you should know that your bloodlines at B&K are producing wonderful healthy puppies, healthier than at least 3 other breeders that our vet has seen recently.

Bella is having a blast - when we first got home she wasn't shy at all she started exploring right away - brave girl. She was a little quiet and missed her brothers and sisters.

Today she is keeping very busy and is playing a lot. She is making us laugh so much, what a wonderful Christmas present - it is great to have a four legged friend back in the family. She is simply adorable - we are all falling more in love with her every day.

Thank you for giving her such a great loving start to her life - we will definitely keep in touch and send updates.

We tried putting a Santa hat on her for picture today - we may need to try that when she is a little more tired. Will send a shot when we are able to take one.

Have the other pups been picked up yet and how is Tippy doing?
